4/14/08: Spam Redux: Over the last week, we've cleaned out over fifty spam user accounts, most created since December (when BillA1 found them all the last time). It's up to you guys to help keep an eye on things. If you receive spam comments, let us know. If you notice someone's profile is all spam, let us know. Actual authors are NOT being deleted, nor are old or empty accounts. We're after the spammers.
4/6/08: Anon Comments: Thanks to spammers, we have turned off anonymous comments. You're going to have to log in to comment on stories now. Sorry, guys. If you get a bunch of spam comments, drop a note to the Help address. (Unless you had no comments on the story to begin with. Then please repost instead.)
9/10/07: Stories, Redux: See previous announcement. Also, if you think a story is violating our TOS, please drop a note to the help@jlaunlimited email address instead of arguing in comments. Thanks.
7/28/07: Stories: Post 'em. Lots of 'em. Essays, too. Even challenges. Please do not post "placeholder" pieces such as "coming here soon" or demands for someone to write a story to your specifications. Write it yourself and post it. Even if it's a drabble. (That'd be "an exactly 100 word story" for those who came in late. Alt+T+W in MS Word.) Posts that are not stories (or essays or challenges -- and please note that part of issuing a challenge is fulfilling it yourself as well) will be removed. Thank you.
4/9/07: Spammer: We seem to have picked up a comment spammer. As your friendly neighborhood Merlin is still recovering from the flu, I don't have time or energy to go through every story to check for spam reviews, so if you get one, drop me a message at help@jlaunlimited.com and I can remove it for you. Remember basic internet safety and do not click on links you don't trust; if you click it by accident, check your firewall and virus protection settings and consider running an adware scan.

Comment policy. JLA Unlimited does not wish to censor authors, nor the readers who leave comments on the stories. However, if we suspect abuse of the comment system, we will delete any posts deemed a personal attack rather than a critique of the story, and delete comments which are abusive rather than constructive. Feedback is a valuable tool for both author and reader in these communities. Please use it as such. This does not preclude honest responses: false praise can be as unhelpful as an unsubstantiated negative critique -- be truthful in your reply, and remember that the best response weighs all parts of the story, good and bad.
We've added a LIVE ACTION section to our database. This section will include SMALLVILLE, BATMAN BEGINS, LOIS & CLARK and other live action television and movie fanfics that center around core members of the Justice League.
