Planet Namek's distruction by SuperSaiyaMan
A few weeks had pasted since the Justice League had stopped Vandal Savage from taking control of Earth. Sam completed his interm training at the Daily Planet and had become a full fledge reporter. Celpia had began working at Star Labs, helping them develope new technologies that could compete with Lex Corps. But, something was deeply troubling Batman.
'This isn't the first time he went into that rage, and after he goes into it, he can't remember what he did before the event. Why can't I figure out how to help him! He's my son, and deserves to know about this power.' Batman thought to himself as he slammed his fist into his desk, then went back into doing calculations on the super computer, 'Wait, the Saiyan factor. I may have to consult Celpia about this one.'
Meanwhile, on a far away planet, called New Namek, the evil tyrant named Darkseid was leading an invasion of the beautiful world. His mission was to enslave the inhabitants, and steal their treasure.
"We'll never give into you Darkseid!" a Namekian warrior roared as he shot a energy blast at the evil king.
"That didn't even hurt. Kalibak, knock him out and take him to his people." Darkseid said as he wiped off some dust that came onto him during the Namekian's attack.
"Yes father..." Kalibak said as he cracked his knuckles, and punched the namekian in the jaw, subsequently knocking out the warrior.
After a few hours, the Namekian elders were captured and taken into the holding bays of Darkseid's ships. Their treasure was taken into Darkseid's capitol ship, and with a few child Namekians. All the ships then took off, and the tyrant floated out of his chair.
"This planet bores me, I have no more use for it." Darkseid said as h e began charging up his omega beams.
The eldest Namekian, named Muri, looked out of his cell window to see Darkseid preparing to destroy his home. He ran up to the window, and tried to get the tyrant's attention.
"Wait! Please, we'll do anything you want, just don't destroy our planet!" Muri cried, but his pleas felt on deaf ear.
Darkseid them launched his omega blasts at New Namek. The beams formed a energy ball when they hit the plant. It went threw the crust, then it melted the mantle of the planet. The core was hit, sending off a terrible chain reaction. New Namek's surface began glowing red, and the once beautiful green planet, exploded. The Namekian people watched in horror as their home disappeared.
"That was fun, no I know the full extent of my strength..." Darkseid said as he flew back into his capitol ship.
Then, a boom tube opened, sending Darkseid's forces back to Apocolips. An evil grin spread across Darkseid's granite like face. He finally had the solution to the antilife equation.
Meanwhile, back on Earth...
"Hey Sam! Catch!" Lois yelled as she threw Sam's notebook at him.
"Thanks, well see you tomorrow guys." Sam said as he threw his briefcase onto his back, and waved goodbye to Lois and Clark.
Celpia met him at the bottom of the Daily Planet building, and they walked back to his apartment. She had something to tell him, but she was reluctant to do so.
"Hey, what's wrong Cel?" Sam asked as he looked down to his friend.
"Nothing, Bruce just called me today to ask me something...about you, and our ancestry. Remember when we went back in time, and you blacked out?" Celpia replied.
"Yeah, I do remember about what we did back in the World War 2 era, but it still bothers me of why I blocked out, and those craters." Sam replied as he stretched, "Huh, I'm getting a call."
Sam took out his cel phone, and Superman was on the other end. He had called a meeting with other members of the League, and it was urgent.
"Well, I guess I'll have to eat later then." Sam said as his stomach growled, "Right, meet you in the Watchtower."
"What's the matter Sam?" Celpia asked.
"We have to meet the others in the Watchtower. So let's go." Sam replied as the Javelin landed, with Batman driving.
When they got to the Watchtower, Jonn told them what happened. He was contacted by a strange alien.
"Why did he contact you Jonn?" Sam asked.
"He called himself Muri, a Namekian. He told me that his people are enslaved by Darkseid, and that the tyrant destroyed their world." Jonn replied.
"What? Darksied destroyed a planet?" Superman asked worrily, "He has gotten that much stronger since the last time I faced him?"
"Yes, he has. It seems he has evolved some how." Jonn replied as sweat dropped off his forehead.
"We must save them then!" Diana yelled, "I don't care how much stronger Darkseid is, no one deserved the treatment he gave to those innocent people."
"I agree with you Diana, but we may need to have a plan of attack first." Batman said to her.
"Hey, what about going to New Genesis for information? They'll surely know how to defeat Darkseid." Hawkgirl suggested.
"Yes, but I fear that Orion will try to make a foolish move against Darkseid, endangering the lives of the Namekians." Superman said as he rubbed his chin.
"Muri also mentioned something about a dragon, but then he was cut off." Jonn said.
"Maybe he is planning on using this Dragon for the Anti-Life equation." Batman thought.
"We'll find out after we stop him alright." Celpia said, "I've heard of the Nameks before, and I might be able to provide some information."
"Good. We'll leave as soon as we get all the facts straight. Celpia, come with me." Jonn said as he turned for the door.
"Hey Batman, how bout we let Nightwing come along with us this time?" Sam asked him.
"I'll think about it." Batman said as the doors closed.
